For all UAE domestic and international shipments, where pricing is calculated based on weight, we apply volumetric weight to determine the chargeable weight of each parcel or consignment. This ensures accurate pricing, especially for large but lightweight packages.

How to Calculate Volumetric Weight (Air & Express Cargo)

1. Measure the length, width, and height of your package in centimetres (cm).

2. Multiply: Length* width* height

3. Divide the result by 6,000

Formula:

Volumetric Weight (kg) = (L x W x H in cm) / 6000

Compare the volumetric weight with the actual weight of the parcel in kilograms.
The greater of the two is used as the chargeable weight for your shipment.
